I searched Google for terms like “Islamic home finance” and “Islamic mortgage.”One of the top results was a paid ad from a major bank. I clicked through… and landed on their standard mortgage page, with zero mention of Islamic finance or halal options.After 1–2 hours of searching, I still had no clarity. That experience stayed with me. What Was Wrong With That Experience?<ol><li>Wasted time &amp; energy — Finding value-aligned options shouldn’t require hours of digging across search results, forums, and social media.</li><li>Misleading ads &amp; misinformation — Some companies target Islamic keywords without offering halal products, creating confusion and distrust.</li><li>Fragmented discovery — There’s no single, reliable hub to find Muslim makers, products, or businesses — everything feels scattered and outdated.</li></ol>Trust gap — As Muslims trying to live by our values, we need confidence that what we’re finding actually aligns with those values.
